Tim Gowdy’s diverse set of work spans multiple mediums and genres. After completing formal training as a classical guitarist, he decided to further his musical career with a Master’s Degree in Sound Engineering (McGill University, 2007).
Since finishing the degree, his work as a sound engineer has led to collaboration on a variety of projects and roles.
Three of his productions— Julie Crochetiere’s “Counting Dreams”, Angela Galuppo’s self-titled album, and Coral Egan’s “The Year He Drove Me Crazy”— were nominated for Juno Awards. Jireh Gospel Choir’s 2015 Album “Get Up” was awarded Gospel Album of the Year by the Gospel Music Association of Canada.
Tim was nominated for an ADISQ in 2013 for his recording and mixing work on Coral Egan's "The Year He Drove Me Crazy".
